What happens if a dog or cat is not adopted after a long period of time?

When an animal arives at ARF a committment is made to the animal, a committment to end suffering, and a promise of a life filled with love.  We do not put an expiration date on any animal that walks through our doors, animals are able to stay as long as it takes to find them a home, and in some cases ARF acts as a sanctuary and becomes the animals forever home.

I found an animal, how do I bring it to ARF?

If you have found a stray animal ARF would strongly reccommend taking this animal to your closest local veterinarians office and have the animal scanned for a microchip, this is a free service, and the ultimate goal is to unite the animal with its rightful owner.  If the animal does not have a microchip and you would like to bring the animal to ARF please call ARF in advance and make an appointment to bring the animal to our facility.
