Adopt a Mentor Cat for Your Kitten

Thinking about adopting a kitten? Kittens are certainly cute, BUT - without the right guidance - can get into a lot of trouble. What is a loving pet owner to do? Who can show your kitten how a well-mannered feline should behave? The answer it to get your kitten a tutor: an adult cat to advise and guide the younger, less experienced feline. Think of all the things a seasoned cat can teach a young whippersnapper - what to scratch and not to scratch, that the litter pan is the ONLY place to do your business, and that mom and dad DON'T want to play at 2 am! Luckily, ARF has several adult cats that are unselfishly willing to help any kitten make a smooth transition to your home and family. All they ask is that you give them a loving home in return! So do yourself a favor; when adopting a kitten, also adopt an adult cat to be a companion and mentor. That way you'll have two happy, well-adjusted felines to grace your home for years to come.
