Featured adoptees of the Week

Ready to take the plunge into adopting your new best friend? Check out our water themed litter! Here we have Harbor! He's a little over 6 months old. He is part Labradoodle and German Shepherd! He is still very much puppy. He is sweet and loves to stick close to his people! He does like other dogs! Right now we are offering a $100 refund of the adoption fee if you sign up and complete puppy/obedience training. You can choose whichever trainer or facility you would like that offers the classes. Training classes are not required just suggested! The adoption fee is $200. It includes up to date vaccines, neuter and the microchip. If interested in adopting please fill out our adoption application at

Poor Sheena was dumped inside a carrier on the edge of our property- close to the road. Thankfully she was okay. This sweet girl deserves so much better. Although we have no history on her, we guess her to be about 4 years old. She had been spayed (without eartip for stray)- so she was somebody's discarded baby. Please help us find this young lady a forever home! Is that with you? Apply at

Thank you for your interest in an ARF animal! ARF feels strongly about matching the right pet to the right home, & asks that you please fill out the application completely, honestly & feel free to add any additional information that you feel will be important for us to know.

ARF would also like to ask that when making the decision to add a pet to your life, please consider your future plans and make sure a pet fits into these plans. If you plan to move, start a family, travel, or make other major life changes, please make sure these changes include your pet.

Finally, please be aware that with all ARF adoptions, you are required to sign an adoption contract before taking the pet home that requires that at any point in the future if you are not able to care for or keep an ARF animal, the pet must be returned to ARF and may not be sold, given away, or surrendered to any other shelter or rescue.

Includes: Vaccines, booster vaccinations, rabies vaccine (if animal old enough), intestinal parasite screening, treatment, flea treatment, spay or neuter surgery (required to adopt), microchip and registration, bordetella vaccination, heartworm test (dogs only), and feline leukemia, FIV test (cats only).
